A very fine early 20th Century French bronze entitled "Chien et Tortue", the piece modelled as a hound studying a tortoise with an inquisitive look. The surface of the sculpture has an excellent rich brown patina and very fine hand finished detail. Signed A.Jacquement and stamped 'A.D' for the Delafontaine foundry.
